  • Santos take Championship in St. Louis

  • After a very hard fought weekend, the Santos made it past
teams from St. Louis, Kansas City, Southern Illinois and finally
Cicero Mayas to win the Metro Tournament Championship.
  • The Santos allowed only 1 goal in their first three games
leading them to the semi-finals and a win over KCFC Alliance
Blue (5-3) and a trip to the finals.
  • In the finals the Santos met their Division rivals Cicero Mayas.
The Santos stepped up to the challenge and jumped out to a
quick lead but Cicero fought hard and tied the game at two by
halftime.  With some outstanding goalkeeping and a team that
would just not quit, even though exhausted by a hot and long
day that started at 7:30am, Santos finished the game strong
    and  won 6-2.

  • Congratulations Santos!
